Nina L. (Miller) Cleveland, age 86, died Saturday, August 10, 2013, in Susanville, California.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, August 24, 2013 at the Amistad Cemetery in Amistad, New Mexico with Rev. Jay Jones, pastor of the Amistad United Methodist Church officiating. Arrangements are by Hass Funeral Directors of Clayton, New Mexico.

Nina L. (Miller) Cleveland was born on October 2, 1926, in Aberdeen, Texas to William Idus “Jack” Miller and Goldie Odell (Dodd) Miller. She was raised in Amistad, New Mexico and attended school in Amistad and later in Clayton where she graduated. Nina married Grover L. “Alex” Cleveland on April 26, 1946 in Clayton, New Mexico and he preceded her in death on August 17, 1998. They lived in Amistad until 1953 when they moved to California. Alex retired in 1982 and they moved to Prescott, Arizona. In addition to her husband and parents, Nina was preceded in death by 2 brothers, William “Chick” Orville Miller on November 15, 2004 and Sidney Miller and by a sister; Tula.

SURVIVORS:
4 SONS: Jim Cleveland and his wife Debbie of Susanville, California, Kenneth Cleveland and his wife Connie of Bend, Oregon, Jack Cleveland and his wife Gail of Valencia, California and Gary Cleveland and his wife Trudy of Huntington Beach, California.
1 DAUGHTER: Terri Bailey and her husband Scott of Lake Arrowhead, California.
10 Grandchildren
11 Great-Grandchildren
and her siblings; Scott, Virginia, Tressie, Betty, Joy, Clarissa, Brenda and Kathy.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, P. O. Box 96011, Washington, DC 20090-6011.

Michael Mora age 52, of Raton, NM passed away July 27, 2013 in Raton. He was born March 2, 1961 in Raton, NM, the son of George G. and Martha Sedillo-Mora. Michael had worked most of his life in construction.

He is preceded in death by his father, George and sister Anna Ocana. Michael is survived by his mother Martha Mora of Raton, NM, two daughters, Shannon Delgado and husband Ricky and Maria Mora all of Albuquerque, NM. Two sisters, Barbra Avila of Glendale, AZ, and Theresa Vigil and husband Raymond of Midland, TX. Three grandchildren Domenic Mora of Raton, NM, Emily Silva and Anthony Duran of Albuquerque, NM.

Recitation of the Most Holy Rosary will be Friday August 9, 2013 at 7:00 P.M. at St. Patrick’s-St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Raton. Mass of the Resurrection will be Saturday August 10, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Patrick’s-St. Joseph’s Catholic Church with Father John Trambley as the celebrant. Inurnment will be at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Raton.

Cremation arrangements for Jonathan Michael Mora are under the direction of the Yaksich-Long Funeral Home of Raton.

Olivia Frakes age 74, of Raton, NM, passed away Wednesday August 7, 2013 in Raton. She was born April 29, 1939 in Springer, NM, the daughter of Ralph and Kathryn Hephner-Brown. Olivia had managed the Spur Lounge for more than twenty years.

She is preceded in death by her parents. Olivia is survived by two sons, Larry Redlich and wife Bimbi of Raton and Bryan Redlich and wife Jennifer of Quincy, ILL. Four sisters LaDonna Powel of Seadreft, TX, Edythe Johnson of Raton, Carole Romero and husband Dick of Raton and ZoeAnn Mattorano and husband Paul of Trinidad, CO. one brother Albert Brown of Hando, NM. Four grandchildren Jordan Redlich, Joshua Redlich, Santana Casis and husband Patrick and Setiva Romero and finance Nick. Three great grandchildren Sarrissa, Cameron and Natalia.

Recitation of the Most Holy Rosary will be Saturday August 17, 2013 at 9:30 A.M. at St. Patrick’s-St. Joseph’s Catholic Church recited by Frank Cimino Jr. Mass of the Resurrection will follow at 10:00 A.M. with Father John Trambley as the celebrant, inurnment will be in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
Arrangements and celebration of love for Olivia Frakes are under the direction of the Yaksich-Long Funeral Home of Raton.
